As I mentioned earlier, install took around 10 minutes to install on my Windows Server 2016, but please note that you are installing only a beta solution which is not recommended to install on a production environment. Clear message will be displayed on the screen at the very beginning of the installation.

Accept the License agreement and you can select the options such as “Full Installation, Multi tenant solution or just the Transporter“, Installation directory and port configuration can be changed under “Options”

Create a backup account with a cooperate email account, please note that free email addresses will not be allowed

Add the source environment which need to be backed up, Nutanix AHV is added with this beta release

Add A New Transporter

Go to the Next Step and you’ll be seeing a self explanatory description about the transporter and, click on “Got It” button to continue

Deploy a new transporter, I have deployed an Onboard repository in the C: Drive, disk free space will be showing as the repository free space. Please note that creating a repository on the C: drive is not recommended in the production environment
